GT & Gold/White Saum pic thread

I have also heard that. Especially how saums will almost always loose arguments with their tankmates.

I'm keeping three together right now (one is small and doesn't look very good) but beside some minor chasing once in a while, they're doing great together and starting to develop a nuchal hump.

They never attack their tankmates. In my tank anyways.

I think that definitely depends on the individual. Mine rules my tank and isnt afraid to fight for it

I agree, though i do feel it has more to do with the size of the saum vs. it's tankmates, as well as what the tankmates are and what not.

What do you keep yours with? I thought it was practically alone aside from some cats or something? I'll have to go back and look at your pics

Any saum that holds it's own against jags, RD's, festae, etc... is not the norm, which is why I said "almost always loose arguments".

BTW, your saum has an awesome shape! I prefer the streamlined look over the huuge nuchal hump. Big ups to your saum!

i'd add to this thread but all i'm keeping right now in this range,
is a TRUE 3" F0 Aequidens rivulatus, not your gold/white saum stuff,
i think mines alot cooler. to bad for you guys if you don't have em now,
because jeff rapps isn't getting anymore in------EVER!!!!!

BTW the picture I use for my Avatar was a picture found from google. I've never seen a bigger hump on a GT. It's massive.

i keep mine with a sev, jd, oscar, and an aro. not that it says much about the quality of his arguments, most fish usually dont give up much of a fight. although i do agree this would happen with jags, rds, and festae. mine would probably back down im assuming.
