GT growth rate? and sex?

Just stay on top of your Water Changers and A good Diet. I do 50 percent water changes Once a week for my 4inch Male GT. I got him in October at 2inches. Gts, will slow down from time to time but then will find a big growth spurt. Give him a Year and he will be at 8inches or more.

i think you have a male. a good diet and water conditions help. You might want to try to get some veggies in the diet. Growth rate will very but GT are known to be slow growers. But it all depends on the fish. My first get grew about an inch a month, but yet the one i have now is growing alot slower at a rate about 1/4 inch a month. Btw nice looking lil guy u have.

thanks for all the great info guys i hope he grows fasts..... gtbeast is that your 4 incher in your avatar? if it is hes a stunner for sure.... extremely long fins...
