GT is sick, or I have an overactive imagination. Please let me know which one!

i would imagine so. i use very little salt in my tanks so i think i got away with a smaller amount. tbs and tsps could be a deadly typo haha. good to do the reasearch. i hope others chime in about their ick treatments as i have only done it once although sucessfully

Yeah, I've never dealt with Ich before. Neither have my fish LOL.

its not fun, but the raised temp + salt seems to be a bulletproof method of geting rid of it. any ick treatment experts out there? it seems they are all sleeping -_-

Haha well it is late. I'll definitely sleep on it and see who's posted what in the afternoon tomorrow. But, I agree that if it came from the wood, the timeline makes sense, right? Ich-y wood was added on Halloween (oooh, freaky), a little over a week later, you can see the ich.

Also, today is the first day I've seen them, and there is some salt, so maybe it's not reproducing as fast as it would like. Either way, I have no problem waiting until tomorrow to begin treatment. I do appreciate all of your help, though. Without it, I would have never suspected the driftwood, and I'd still be sitting here, thinking it's not ich. Thanks.

LOL thanks. I just finished e-mailing the store who thinks it's a good idea to keep the majority of their driftwood in a pond with random large fish turned in from people who can't take care of them. Hopefully, they'll start leaving it dry on the shelf, and this won't be an issue anymore.

Yea considering all those fish will have it. On a lighter note got any pics of franks tank with the driftwood? I think i remember it from before on another thread
