Alright, so my LFS finally got in some Green Terrors/Gold Saums. I picked this guy out because he had the most color out of the group (he's around 1.5"). My question is, does his blotching look normal? His blotching almost looks like that of a juvy Escondido (which he obviously isn't). I found a website that labeled this coloration" Neon Green Terrors"; never heard of them. http://aqualandpetsplus.com/Cichlid, Green Terror.htm

Anyways, here are a couple of pics. Feedback would be great!

He does look a lot like the neons in that picture, I cant help you but that is a good looking fish to me. My Gt is much darker, I like the lighter colored ones but hes healthy so it doesnt bother me.

just a normal Gold Saum, try taking a picture with your camera flash off, Blue Acaras and Green Terrors always look like that if you take a picture with flash on.

I didn't think so either. He is crazy aggressive too (chases everything around in the tank). Everything else about him looks like a juvenile GT (fins, shape, etc), but his coloration is very different.

I've seen a lot of GTs but none like that! looks kinda cool. If it were my fish I'd be eyeballin' those black spots where it lacks color to make sure it's not a disease, I'm not saying it is.
