Ya, we now all agree that it is perfectly normal. These fish are realy neat but the sign at petsmart says they got 6" and need a 20G tank.....

They definitely get bigger than 6" I think I've heard 8" being the norm, but I think there are people on this site that has some ranging from 11"-14"

Those are sensory pores. Completely normal on cichlids. I've personally caught a 13" male terror, so they get bigger than 6".
