I dont' think that is "for some reason". Quite often big cichlids don't mind small ones, but hate other cichlids that are just as big as them.
About the EBJD, yes I think it should work.

"For some reason" means that I don't know what the reason is, but there is definitely a reason, which you have helped me understand better.

So it is 'for some reason'.

Now, had I said 'My white saume is passive towards the EBJD's, 'for no reason', then you'd have a valid point my friend.


I had a feeling he was only ignoring them because they are small and don't threaten his dominance, but he killed other small tankmates I had such as an albino paradise gourami, but shows no interested in the EBJD's.
