GT?????

Sorry I just saw that now.

I also read in another thread that you have a Jardini in your 30 gal? When your 180 is ready the Jardini will be the only fish you can keep in there because they tend to kill all their tankmates. If you plan on selling the Jardini, you could probably keep a few GT's in the 180. Another thing to consider is that if you have males and females together, breeding will most likely occur whether you plan to or not. I think your main decision right now though is if you want to keep a Jardini or GT's, but not both.
Good luck. :)

oh is that the case with the GTs
but right now my jar is only 6" and the GTs i plan to buy are pretty big in their own way (3.5-4") and i heard that they are pretty tough so was thinking to comm the jar with these

go for it, GT are the slowest growers in the world, right now I have one in a 10 gallon because my oscar in my 75 is so much bigger (he grew faster) that he tried to eat him and he was forced into exile away from the food.

get one in a 30 even if you wait 6 months it still won't have outgrown it.

but only if you don't have a jar in the 30!!!!!!

Green terror are nice fish to have ther fairly mild aggressive firemouths are nice to keep with them cons severums salvani thay will mate nice tankmates.
