Really nice Awak. They look like males to me.

Caveman, did you get yours from Rapps? He's the only person I've seen that has them and that has just been in the last 6 months or so. Are they really meaner than the GT's we buy in the hobby now as I've heard? I'm curious as to what the actual differences are.
 
Those terrors look amazing! Mine looks kinda weak compared to those. It is about three inches. I was in the pet store and saw one that had wayyyyy better color than mine that was 2" or so. Also, I saw a "electric green terror" for sale for double the price. I didn't notice too much of a difference though. Is there such a thing?

Can you guys tell if this is male or female? Will the colors get better with time?

I don't think those are terrors. They look more like JD's to me with those vertical stripes. Even my 2" juvies have never had stripes like those.
JD's will have the dark barring and instead of orangish/yellow or white on the tops of the fins, they have red and they don't have the color on the edge of the tail fin like green terrors do.
I think you've got some Jack Dempseys there my friend. And I've never heard of an Electric Green Terror. Perhaps your thinking of the Electric Blue Dempsey?
 
yeh, pretty sure u ment that..... that doesnt look like JD or a green terror...it has too much of a round body to be a jd, mayb its cross with both
 
hey guys. yeah I have never seen a green terror like this. It is definately not a jd. It's kinda weird looking but could be cool if it is a hybrid. I know the terrors in the pet store were labeled "electric green terrors" I owned three electric blue dempseys so I know it wasn't the same fish.
