GTP vs. ETB

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Look in the background in the picture, and you should see the cage for that guy.

I give up on GTP locality though... it went out the window with designer morphs.

Well the emerald that I would be getting is about 2 years old anyways, its like 3 feet long, nice and fat. A customer bought it from our store as a baby, and now they are moving someone where they cannot take the snake so they brought it back to us. Its pretty tame, handled it with a glove of course but it only struck once, and that was when I was trying to get it out of the cage. I am going to see how it eats first though before I make any decisions.

the only reason i didnt mention that is because remember they usualy crap and pee from above and it can go wherever,a bit harder to keep it clean but if you give it the time then i agree, that would look good.

yep...

I personally like a small sterlite w/DIY coathanger or pvc branches until larger with a heating pad for neonates.. Then step it up to a large vivarium when larger.. I have a sweet spot for GTP's..

It would be a little more work but something like this would be AWESOME (With a GTP, not a viper obviously)

thats awsome and im now in love with that viper,,im just saying that snake is going to crap all over that stuf, lol.

Yep, yep... and big snakes crap larger than most dogs, but they thankfully dont crap too often, so a once a week cleaning should keep the tank looking good.

Yeah I was planning on just a front opening glass tank with siliconed PVC for him to curl around on. Possibly adding a waterfall for humidty as well, and then heat lamp obviously

aww... I think you should do at least a BIT more than that. How about some branches instead of PVC, and a bunch of hanging plants and a background? Simple and cheap, and I guaruntee it will make your GTP experience better.
