there is a couple white ones here and there...they just kinda pop up once in a while...id say i have about 200-300 eggs....how long is this process????

Like Onion said the parents may end up eating the eggs but if not, you'll have wrigglers in less than a week. They'll live off their yolk sac for a few days and after that, start to feed them. Congrats and good luck.

the eggs should be a brown or tanish color, my dovii just laid eggs today and there only 3" so congrats :).

The eggs that are unfertile will be a whiteish color and the parents will pick them off. Dont exspect the parents to raise all the fry, they will probably eat the first 1-3 batches.

best of luck and congrats

well there is some news here...about a month ago my GTs laid some eggies...and well some of them turned white and they slowly ate them all...i woke up this morning and there was more eggs. Id say about 2-3 hundred..just as many as last time...they are still young but are getting bigger and bigger every day...they are probably about 2.5 inches...the male maybe a bit bigger...i just did a 50% water change yesterday and they must have laid eggs durring the night...now what do i do? can anyone move this to the breeding forum or give me any advice...i think ill let them try and do it on there own again this time...but if they eat them again should i think about moving the parents out of the tank???? sorry im still new to this breeding deal...

thanks everyone
