I wasn't aware they were banned. They are banned from export from Brazil(I just looked) but last year he got his from Peru. I don't know where they came from and didn't know they were only in Brazil. He had 100 available. Don't know, don't care. They came from Peru and that's all I know.
Leopoldi from Peru? If your talking about PERU AQUARIUM GROUP trying to sell people leopoldi you will only find out your being cheated. All stingray are banned from Brazil nothing has been approved or quoted in over 4 years. Also any import of wild caught black rays will not be allowed into the USA fish & wildlife is very aware of the ban and will enforce the brazil laws here in the states. Just be carefull there are alot of companies out of Peru claiming to have black rays and all they do is take your money and run. If you are getting real leopoldi I would take a few pairs of wild caught blood anyday so if this is serious let me know if not good luck.
