I love red devils they arent stupid or ugly but they are ]M[ean. They are also quite beautiful fish. Don't blame the fish for being fish as some would have you do. .

The balas were most likely just scavenging off the already shredded body.
Its very doubtfull they had anything to do with killing the ARo.

that is one poor arowana. yeah.. try jardinis the 8-12 inch ones. maybe you won't find some of your fish anymore... and become poop. they are known to be aggressive. silver aro are predatorial fishes but they are more mild in terms of attacking other fish compared to more agressive fishes.
