Guess - new polys

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks all! Appreciate everyone who contributed with their participation. But ShookONES must of called the psychic hotline and talked to Miss Cleo. He guessed right. Both are Weeksii about 11-11.5".

Glad I got these as I regret sellin my 13 & 16" weeksii. At least, they're at an awesome new home and well taken care of. Here's the video during an overdue water change. The two are in there.

They already look settled in

Thanks dr b. The two pretty much look like the standard weeksii out there. They were at a LFS where multiple common plecos would suck on their soft finlets. Not too much damage, but It will take about 2-3 weeks for repair. I'll try to get better pics. Since , it's a new environment. The m/f (I think) tandem really like to hide behind my dw and Anubias.image.jpeg

I don't know if it's just the angle but they have some really short noses

The head features look like the 3 I've owned in the past. Although the, both do have some noise membrane loss due to being in the bag for an hour. All my Weeksii In the past get this in the bag pretty easily.

Dr b. Question for u.

Are there captive bred weeksii in the market currently? If they were being hormone induced. Wouldn't there be much more available at our local fish store? I rarely see them available.

HAHA no Miss Cleo action here bro! Its easy to spot those fat-headed weeksi from a while away.

I guess I can officially put this dream of you shipping me your collection to rest huh? Seems bichers are making a comeback in 2016

No joke, there really has been a resurgence of poly keepers lately.
