Guess that lizard

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The lizard was a Granite leaf tailed gecko, Saltuarius wyberba.
They are found in northern NSW and southern QLD in the granite belt.
They are an uncommon and little known species even in Australia.

Prehensile tailed skink!
I want one so bad!
Yep!
Currently setting up a tank for some Pink tongue skinks, which are kinda like them.

Skinks are awesome! I have an Indonesian blue tongued skink and he is great! Kinda like a bigger pink tongued skink.
I agree skinks are the best, only second to Varanids, (and frilled neck lizards). I think it’s the uniqueness of them that i like. You can have skinks with prehensile tails, and skinks that have sharp spines. And there also super placid, very underrated.
