Gotcha. I suspected she was growing out a shave down. I groomed Bouviers for a working kennel, and all of those dogs had a really thick coat.

Unlike in the Giant Schnauzer breed where there is a huge difference between the coats of working and show bloodlines.

She actually was kinda " growing it out" She gets shaved every 12 weeks or so and the pic was probably taken about 6 weeks after a shaving. Problem is it's warmer here than in Belgium so we can't let it grow that long, although I'd like to

thanks. I would agree, but i've had him next to a few GSD's and he's too small. and just doesnt look like them when right next to one. but its anyone's guess. !

Ok I'll have fun with him and say he looks like a giant Schipperke. LOL

You can get a canine DNA test kit. It will tell you the main breeds in your mix.

I'll tell you what he is, BEAUTIFUL!

My guess would be GSD/Border Collie. Its about the same size as my cattledog/border collie mix (40lbs)...

And you should totally do the DNA test Paper recommended ^^ I dunno how accurate they are, but its fun anyway!
