Yep, plecos. The State of Florida calls them suckermouth catfish with barely an honorable mention that they are also known as plecos.

The three that I caught were 18.5", 20.5", & 21".

And you had 200 of them around you? wow..

haha.. that was hard trying to figure out what doesn't "bite", similar to sturgeon, and sold in almost every pet store and could be sold as "shark".. good one.

Weird freakin behavior though..

Yeah, I was totally blown away when I finally found out what they were. It took me three hours to figure out how to catch them. After that, they were kinda easy.

YAH THERE RUNNING WILD NOW DOWN THERE IN SOME OF THE RIVERS, I USE TO LIVE IN DAYTONA AND PEOPLE USE TO GO SPEAR THEM FOR FISH AND GAME BECAUSE THERE BECOMEING A NEWSCENSE AND THE RIVERS ARE WIDENING AT A FASTER RATE FROM THEM SPAWNING IN THE SIDE OF THE RIVER BANKS.

HERE'S MY QUESTION, HOW DID YOU END UP CATCHING THEM?
