guess the weight

Thanks for all the responses guys.
My grandfather has mastered a way of holding a fish to make it seem much larger than it is. It was 22.5" and 6lbs-9oz- still a pretty good bass for Mass, missed a state pin by 7oz. It was weighed at a bait shop so I trust the weight.

What state do you live in?
I guess you live in a state where the bass don't get big..

Our, CAlifornia record is somewhere around 24pounds and 4ounces I think..
 
Massachusetts
Largemouths arent even native fish they were introduced in the late 1800's. In the southern states they get much bigger because of the climate
The MA record is about 15 lbs but the state pin is 7 lbs
