so i bought a bass from a local pet shop that a local guy bread and sold to the store. its supposed to be a mono and very well may be, however it only has 2 stripes? its only about 6 inches right now so its not showing much color yet. anyone got any ideas? i could post pictures later tonight or tomorro

Well heck no expert here but just a varient he just happened to have two not three...

headshape mostly and bars....occels are more evenly sloped down...like hulons guyana occel
