Got a shipment about a month ago from Tropical Fish Distributors that came through DHL, the
employee said he didn`t know their company shipped fish. He said most employees toss all boxes just the same. BIG- ASSED words TROPICAL fISH on all four sides of the box. Little must I say that most of the fish were dead. MHO.......Keith

Beautiful pikes (I hate you I hate you I hate you) Now I know not to let them be shipped DHL, btw I don't really hate you, you just get all the cool ones.

I don't get ALL the good ones. Just some of them....:headbang2. Member these are my ONLY pikes right now, so yeah, my collection is rather small at the moment. It shall soon grow though! Yup!! A lot of members here have pikes that I wish I had but don't have the space or money. BTW...all pikes are kewl!! ;)

If you want to see something that will make our Tigrina/Atabapo/Atabapo Fire/Tapajos etc. contemplations meaningless go to Vinny Kutty's site, look on "what's new" and click on the Cr. Rosemariae-unbelievable how beautiful.

Also really like the Cr. Lacustris on Vinny's website - absolutely beautious Pike with red spotting, classic shape. GI Joe had 1 a year ago that was lookin good until that tank crashed.....
The Rosemariae is indeed a unique & differently colored Pike, as yet not imported here.
Why even mention Cr. Tigrina? Does anyone in America have some?????

Those are indeed some NICE pikes...but still nothing tops tigrina....nothing. They are the holy grail of all pike keepers....I don't know of ANYONE who has any...:(.

Come now, monsieur Peanut, and come to your senses, or don your best spectacles and open your eyes. The evidence: BRIGHT orange belly (the ENTIRE belly at that) meeting half way up with METALLIC Lime Green and then back again to bright orange finnage, top this all off with a HUGE spattering of bright red speckles...and you dare to compare this with a few vertical "tiger" stripes? Aesthetic perfection side by side with..with..Tigger (see: Winnie the Pooh)? To put it in your Mississippi vernacular-pushaw! As Mr. Keets would say "Beauty is truth, truth beauty..."

That bit of snottiness out of the way-those are some sweet orange+green and green pikes huh?

I know they are great lookin pikes and I would love to have some. I've loved tigrina for such a long time though, that they are just so much more appealing. If i had a chance to get some rose. then I definately would...;). They have been imported before though, I don't think tigrina has yet...or ever will be. They are in a nature reserve or sumptin where collection is prohibited...:(. Pretty much the unattainable.
you dare to compare this with a few vertical "tiger" stripes?

When was the last time you looked at a couple of good pictures of tigrina?

Interesting, that is too bad as they ARE wonderful looking pikes (Tigrina). I didn't know that about the Rosemariae-thanks. Any idea who/what where they were obtained.

I don't think any have been obtained in the U.S....but Japan and Europe seem to be able to get pikes before we do. Its possible a few have slipped into the US...but I'm not sure. Either way, keep your eyes peeled!! Would be awesome to get either of them! Def. be set apart from pikes!!! I know i would hold my head high if i had some!!
