How big are they. What size is the smallest and largest?

They are all near the same size, about 2.5"

are they all yours?

For now yes, I would eventually like to add two of these guys with my other black aro for a trio. Hard to say though, may just keep all.

sssssweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet..nice pick ups..keep us updated on their growth

Yes I will, you can check my thread I did last year on raising a baby black, I will do a similar thread with these guys.

Finally!!!

One change I have already made is to remove all of the floating plants. While the plants do a good job with adding security, the 5 baby aros quickly established territories and this raised aggression. By removing the plants they have gone into a schooling mode and show less aggression

Nice! Gonna be an awesome tank! Congrats!

good luck with them all.. going to be fun for all of us watching them grow...

wow these guys seem to fight alot. Looks to be due to territorial issues. One of the five arrived with only one eye, he has taken quite a beating and I don't think he will make it. I just got done setting up another 55g so now there is two aros per 55g. I may be putting tank dividers also if the fighting continues.

Awesomeness ^^ five baby black aros. I have never seen a black aro here when it is still black. Very surprising with the fighting from such a tender age, ey.

The babies came with feeders inside the bag?

The one died through the night so now down to 4:(. Separating into two tanks has worked well so far. They each now just stay in their own territory. It may have worked having all together, but there was a few split fins and with the one eyed aro unable to defend itself. I decided not to take the chance on loosing anymore right now.

Once I get the 450g going:irked: I'll have some larger tank space available and may try to reintroduce all back together then.

I'll try to get some pics posted, but if ya want to see some good baby black pics check out this thread, Finally!!!
