Well tonight I was at the lfs taking care of some business, when my kids come running up to me to say dad they have a ? here.
Now considering this is Saskatchewan and we are considered the armpit of the fishkeeping world for supply of anything exotic or rare, I simply had to go take a look thinking my kids were
. Yet, at the same time I am like

because this is a fish I was willing to drive to pittsburgh, pa. to pick up from someone and bring it back to regina. I got as far as getting the federal approval for it to bring it accross the border and then a idiot govt worker here read a website with the general name and not the forbidden name and struck it down no ? asked.
So I head over to the tank and

there is the fish I thought I would never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever get my hands on, and it was surrendered to them 2 weeks ago and no one bought it. It was almost like it was being kept for me
.
Not that I was planning to shell out money for a fish tonight but I simply had to get this because it is a dream fulfilled. Granted my geos are not happy at all about having a 11 inch silver arowana put in their 180g but this new fish might cause an issue for my silver.
I will be back in a couple of hours and I will post the mystery bag shots for yall to guess. I think I might be the only person in saskatchewan with this fish.
Time to start the guessing
