TIRETRACK ?? mean and nasty?! :banher:
all a tiretrack is good for is slithering out of a tank and turning itself into Chinese candy!

i thought lungfish grow huge. but i only assumed that.. what max size? around 40"+ right?

Well after a hour long fight with photobucket I ended up with this one picture will take a couple more tomorrow

IMGP4108.jpg

it measures in at about 23 inches, for right now its in my 140g here but I have a 5 foot tank that I am picking up on thursday that will become its temp home till I bring in one of my bigger tanks in a few months

I really did not plan on getting something like this nor did I ever think that I would be able to, am in the midst of shutting down a few tanks so that I can install a few larger ones and this tank was almost turned into a sw the day before I got this fish. Since this was a surrender from a keeper who is moving to vancouver I really wish I could see what else the guy has who knows he might have some interesting stuff for sale.

yeh for the moment but that tank was being geared up to turn into a sw, I was just about to sift out the blue stuff that is there from the previous tank owner I got it from. I almost salted the water the night before but got this one and put him in.

I will be moving the fish to my house where I just cleared out a 100g as a temp home, till I pick up my 5x2x2 that will become this fishes new temp home. Within the next 6 months I should be having a good variety of large tanks 200g+ so giving this fish a good permanent home will be no probs.

I think I am going to call this fish gramps because it looks just like an old man when it eats.
