I actually had a 11" northern pike in a tank for 1 month and had no problem at all....well until he jumped out.

Hiya folkilsk, some people keep them in well filtered, unheated tanks, pickerel are more common though due to the size.

from what i heard most native fish die in a tank because it's to hot inside... perhaps if you keep them outside... i'd guess the want 4-10 C ... have no idea what that is in farenheit but 0 C freezes. i have about 18-19 indoors.

the fact that they grow to about 5 feet in length might be a problem too ;)

JD do you even read the post and replies b-4 you ask a question.

well to save you some readin' its a Northern Pike.

if you guys can get your hands on some Castaic trout swimm baits, i would recommend buying stock in them. they are northern slayers! and also musky love them too. trouble is, they rip ad tear easily....also , add a treble if you use one.
