No, these are not found in South or Central America.
 
no way that is any dendrobates species! It looks totally different. Sadly, I don't know much about frogs out of the americas other than xenopus and FBT's. Is it asian?

No, it is not a mantidactylus.
One clue, lives in deep rainforest, not scrub.
 
Afrixalus orophilus, its on the threatened list at the moment i think. it could be Afrixalus brachycnemis though.
