Nope and Nope, wide spread in South America but named after an Island in Asia. I don't know why, lol.
 
Okay, no one got that one so I will tell you what it is, that is the Formosa false coral snake (Oxyrhopus formosus)

The next one is an oddball, it carries a very potent hemolytic toxin that acts strongly on the heart. It is unusual in that it can bite with it's mouth closed and it's fangs project more sideways than down.

i could sear i have seen one of those in iraq , but prob not
 
Although not as common in Iraq as farther south either this species or a very closely related on can be found in Iraq. Usually in newly disturbed soil.

Feeds mainly on other snakes and legless lizards.
