Guess what monster fish this is

It is the Asp (Aspius aspius), a food and game fish found over most of Europe, though now rare in some areas due to habitat degradation and over fishing. (The picture is from a French site www.carnevenir.com)

judging from the back ground , looks like a mangrove swamp,Lutjanus griseus , a mangrove snapper?

Is it the rough flathead (Grammoplites scaber)? Yep, I double checked and it is the same photo as is in fishbase..
 
Here is one that should not be too hard, it is large, and while mainly salt water and often brackish, there are a few places where it is found far inland in freshwater rivers and even lakes.
