Here is one a bit bigger,

Neither a catla nor a catlocarpio, and while it's range overlaps the catla (not the catlocarpio) it would not be found in the same waters. It is also smaller than those two.
 
This one only gets to 20"
 
Last hint,
it is from India and lives in midsized river without much vegetation
 
Not a Tor species. In all my looking I have only found this one picture.
