It does look like a species in the herring family, but certainly not a tarpon... there's no way I'll get this one, but I'd love to buy some of them, LOL!

I'm thinking a leucicus family member, maybe the Alburus albernus or even the Mekong golden minnow, Xenocyprus argentea
