Guess what showed up today...

The box of shortnose gars showed up today. All dead, of course. What REALLY pisses me off, though? The fact that 1 of the bags was still intact, so if they @(#*$#* USPS had bothered to deliver it on time, then that one would probably have lived!

The other two bags had both leaked, not sure how. I couldn't see any visible tears, but I didn't mess with them too much, seeing as 6 day old dead fish that had been sealed in triple layered plastic bags stink to high heck.

I also just google mapped his house, he wasn't lying when he said he lived out in the boonies... and I wonder if he is catching these out of the huge lake that's on his property.

Also Conner, your place doesn't look too bad either. I like the white and green color scheme on your house. Or is yours the one across the street with the crazy iron gym at the start of the walkway?

The bag should be double and place them really packed in the styreo foam box to prevent the bag from rolling inside the box.

The box was probably been tossed around by the UPS guys when they receive it. Hope that won't happen to as I'm about to order 15x shortnose gars as well, ans I'm here in Canada.

They were double bagged, and then placed inside plastic tupperware buckets. I don't know if the gars chewed through the bags, or if the handling was just so rough the two popped.

Mine isn't white and green... and no crazy iron gym...
