As far as Jeremy Wade goes.... You can put the top 3 fishgeeks on this site against him on fish knowledge and we'd make him eat crow! I mean FISH! I think alot of us have more knowledge on fish in general than he does. That's my opinion.

Its possible, but I highly doubt that. Jeremy Wade is an actual ichthyologist
 
He has a BS in zoology (not icthyology) and is a certified teacher. Whilst the rank and file membership might not be quite able to match his knowledge, there are many members here who could doubtlessly write circles around him.

That being said, I am a huge fan of the man and have nothing but respect for him and I certainly don't discount his real world experience. He is living my dream career after all!
