oh hes growing fast
he's already got some trailers on his caudal now
he's beginning to get a little aggressive with his current tank, i mean i didn't know he would want to attack shrimps in his tank

i already have a few kitties which 3 footers in the pond and have the potential to outlive me and get to a much larger size too, so he will go along with them as he grows

Look like anchors? They are anchors! I showed my dad a pic of a full sized adult. His reaction was awesome, said "That's not a catfish, that's a prehistoric monster!" I can't wait to see how fast it grows.
I'm contemplating sculpting one of these.....

yeah
and this one is just like 1"+ when i posted that pic, now he's got some niiice tiny streamers
i think he will have some his streamers once he is grown a little more

yeah as they grow they look more like anchors
when i first saw a pic, 3 years back of a full grown adonis i was just mesmerized, i didn't even had a dream that one day i could find one for my tank

oh i think these grow quite fast compared to other plecos, hes already put at least .5" since the day i posted that pic
