It's a beautiful thing to get to cherry pick the stock, but I pay for it by working 80 hours a week.
 
As the manager was ringing me up for these, he said:"what are you going to do with all those Dats?" I said: "I am going to turn them into Monsters and have a sweet Tank packed with Monster Loaches and Datnioides!" I don't think he shared my passion.
 
usually they dont. they dont care what u do with ur fish lol. every time i tell them what i have, they look at me like "what the..." cool new fish dude

I keep going to my tanks and looking closely, hoping the fish gods put a dat in my tank. Hasn't worked yet, but I'm not about to give up.
 
I like how yours look like they came in healthy too, all the baby dats round me are sick and in bad shape.... theres still a few thinbars around 5" for sale, at my LFS. I want a Growout tank of the lil guys tho...
