You don't need to say something to pass the message. The meaning was perfectly, loudly and clearly, conveyed.

I fail to see where the lack of tact and care is - nor will I deepen the discussion on it - in the mention, in general and broad terms, of an "american sickness"....Most of you people over your side of the ocean do the utmost to preserve characteristics ( such as names, faces, car plates, ) which for us europeans are non issues....and that, imo, shows in no small measure the type of society you live in...

That was all I meant, without any intention to open a debate or to "ofend "anyone, ok?

maybe not mfk but the internet YES
there are some wack jobs on mfk and just plain online
so many things could happen that i dont even want to list them
to each their own

One problem with written text is the inability to convey context. You may have taken what myself and others said as condescending, which was not, at least in my case, the intention. Just as I took what you said, in your broad, sweeping generalization of Americans, as offensive.
