So I have a 75 Gallon aquarium. One of the fish is about a foot long sucker fish. His tail is all bit up. I dont know which fish did it but i have a small red tailed catfish, small blue johanni, 2 small electric yellow, 1 red tailed shark, 1 very large frontosa burundi which i saw bite one of the small electric yellows the other day.

My only quandary is i would think its the frontosa burundi but it has been with teh sucker for a while and this has never happened. The only brand new fish is the red tailed catfish but i dont think he could inflict that much damage.

Would someone suggest which fish it probably is with an explanation so I can sell it back to the pet store?

Thank you

Any of those fish could of done it but its most likely to be the red tail catfish or the frontosa.
Really because the red tail catfish is known for eating things even bigger then itself and since the frontosa is the one of the largest fish in the tank and you saw him already bite a fish he probably could of bit your pleco.
My answer is the frontosa.... but if the red tail cat is 5+ inches he could of done it as well
one other thing is fin rot

I would lean toward the rtc not the front the front may have tried to eat the small electric yellow but they are not a fin nipping fish. The red tail cat though are known to eat just about anything and if I were you would be moving your smaller fish out of the tank before they become feeder fish for him. Not sure how fast the rtc grows bur your front will eventually become a meal too.

Pretty much your stock can nipping on fins.
