RTC FTW they are like the bset looking catfish imao, i wish i could keep one , and dont forget the other classic a tiger shovel nose

Nope no RTC's in the area at the moment... starting to get alittle upset... been thinking about taking a 350 gallon tank and throwing a couple dozen guppies in it just to see what happens... I mean waiting for cats isn't exactly fun...

I have tried for years to get one into the area for me to buy... can never get oneI'll keep trying... also couldn't ever seem to track down a planiceps either... still on the wish list
Snook has 12" Planiceps available right now on aquabid still at a great price if you can get your tank setup soonish. I haven't seen any Piraiba available since the early spring but I'm sure when Feb-March rolls around we will see a few then. Out of the Planiceps that came in earlier this year that everyone bought I don't think I've seen hardly anyone post up current pics which leads me to believe that they are either dead or not on the boards anymore. I've only got 1 of my 5 left from earlier in this year; lost 2 to predation from my Piraiba
and 2 when I added a beast clown loach to my tank that infected everything and I couldn't recover the Planiceps from it so only that one survived.Welcome back!

sorry to hear about no RTC situation - was at my LFS couple of days back they had a few of them RTC tadpoles there soooooooo cute but no more space besides i am not buying new fish no more ........... for now =P

I need to get a tank cleaned up and ready for a pair of RTC's to come home... I've never had such a hard time finding these guys in my life!... I need to pass by the store to make sure that they are in good shape and eating well.
Needless to say it will be nice to be back in the hobby with the fish that I enjoy so much
