Guessing game

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
!979, Mojave Lake I think, in Colorado anyway, I let it go because there were signs up saying how big a fine you could get if you didn't. Some areas will still let them be collected with proper permits, the one I caugt was about 18" long and the biggest thing I caught that day.

To make this more in keeping with MFK future fish must grow to over 8" long. the second fish was an australian, the JELLYBEAN JOLLYTAIL (Galaxias fuscus). Since no one wants to guess on the first one I invite anyone to post something different.
First picture posted starts the game.
1.) Must be a fish
2.) Must grow to over 8" long
3.) must be able to be kept in a home aquarium of under 1,000 gallons
and finally 4.) you must state if it is fresh water, brackish, or salt
scientific name and one common name are required please.

Oh yeah, the first fish was a BONEYTAIL CHUB(Gila elegans)

Eliminate whale sharks, great whites ,etc. The home aquaria bit is to get rid of deep sea fish. If you want to post one of those I suppose ypu just need to state that for your fish that rule is rescinded, now if you do that you could be sneaky and post a 8" fish just to mess with people.

m gonna give life to this thread again!
guess what cichlid this is!
clue: it aint gephagus
