GUITAR!!!

I play bass, been playing on and off for about 10 years. Was in sort of a jam band in college (www.vampjeez.com for free music downloads) which was a lot of fun. Started out playing a lot of sublime, some reggae, rock, then got into funk, now I just play whatever/whenever the mood strikes me. I want to learn how to play acoustic but just haven't had the time or motivation yet.
Thats awesome... I love the thing, have played Clarinet, Uphonium, and Piano half my life and took up guitar after watching my neighbour 10mths ago. I love it, have done a couple of AC/DC songs, Boston, The Doors, and Clapton, picking it up really quick. My neighbour teaches now me and he blows my mind, does stuff from Yungwie Malmsteen, Dire Straites, anything!
ive been playing guitar for almost 5 years now. i get into it on and off. Havent had time in the past year or so since i started college, so i can hear myself slipping. But its still fun to pick it up every once in awhile.
My amp is currently broken, so all ive been lately is my acoustic which is probably why ive been losing interest. But i love playing heavy, fast metally type music.

got a jackson guitar, been playing off and on for years....Like playing anything classic to current hard rock....
I play bass and lead, electric im not a very good player but im learning, im trying to perfect the intro to ' betrayed' by avenged sevenfold
