I play an Ibanez 7-string guitar, absolutely love it!!! I play a lot of progressive jazz, metal, hard rock, Buckethead, and Primus stuff. I mainly write most of the stuff I play.

been playing bass for about 12 months now, started seriously playing it about a month ago.... I'm saving for a 450 watt stack amp.

I've been playing about 3 years now. I started out teaching myself some chords on acoustic, then moved on to working on lead stuff and riffs on the electric, then moved on to a little bass.
2 years ago, I got myself I nice Ovation Tangent Acoustic/Electric. Since I've also gotten a Fender Telecaster Deluxe, G&L Legacy (Strat knockoff), and a Squire Vintage Tele PBass (70's reissue with giant telecaster headstock). I've been getting better at some lead stuff and some hardcore and metal and I also enjoy a good blues jam, but I'm primarily a rhythm guitar player. Most of the playing I do is lead, rhythm, or bass in different church bands

Here's the current collection:

I got started late in college..

After going to concerts with friends... I was inspired by David Crowder to play acoustic guitars.. and then i met this girl who has been playing for 8+ years since middle school... that got me into playing again..

I havent been playing in months tho.. been thinking about playing again..

Guitar, piano, bass mainly because Ive got good rhythm and Im good at guitar so bass was pretty natural for me,sometimes more so but I get carried away and play too much lead stuff on it,lol.I can fake the upright bass good too.I can fake drums good, pretty much any instrument I can make you think I can play it good at least for a while, lol.Guitar though is my main vein and Ive got a crate half stack that is shorting out in the head,I need to take it apart and find out why the sound keeps going off,if you thump the top lightly it comes on for a sec and then right back off.Cold solder joint I think or loose connection.I can play every style, grew up on punk and metal, love jazz, funk, best feelin mixing a little hendrix-rage against the machine and james brown all together, lol.Love blues, play alot of fugazi type stuff, still love hard rock and metal.I am good at writing and playing moby and underworld type stuff on keyboards and such, wish I had the money for a studio and gear. Here is my main player, old pic, dusty from the move, cleaned it before placing in the case while waiting to fix the dang amp,its a guild de armond.Sounds and feels awesome, its not as fat as a rockabily hallow body so it sounds good with metal sill and social d stuff.Ive got an old classical, and old fender squire, old wireless nadey, and some 200 buck acoustic I play alot but really want a good one.On that I love to play alot of neil young type stuff,I get pretty funky though on that thing too.bts 5.JPG
