Gulper cat compatibility with my current stock??

hell prolly be okay with the ray, the bichirs he'll eat, you can keep him with a oscar as long is its big and cant fit in his mouth... my friend has a pleco with his gulpers

that's what i originally thought - compatibility wise..

the guy who i would potentially get the gulper from, keeps 1 10'' diameter marbled motoro with it. again like i mentioned early i wanna hear MFKers opinion to what they think is truly compatible. i have done some research and speculating and the next step was to come here and make this thread. in return i would learn more about the gulper as well..:drool:
 
The ray might survive a gulper attack but it would most likely kill the gulper in the process by stinging it. I wouldn't risk it cause rays are very foldable
 
I have heard about RTCs folding rays burrito style and eating them. I'd bet a gulper could too.

yah maybe!

like i said early the guy with the gulper keeps it with a 10'' diameter ray..no problems.
the gulper is only about 6''

however, im not getting a gulper until my tank is empty..
 
Tank mates for gulpers need to have top to bottom girth to prevent becoming a meal forget about length. I'm not sure about the ray but it's too risky considering the cost of each.
