Gulper Cat!

I've been looking for info on the Gulper Cat and can not find much.
Can you provide me with water chem, tank size, life span etc...
Just an overall profile on this Cat pls.

How long do you think I could house 2 3-4" Gulpers in a 50gl ran by my RenaX3?
 
i want to know that too,i got one last week but he didnt make it
 
Anyone know their growth rates?
I've read they grow fast as juvi but slow down as they get older (kind of like most fishes...)
I'm looking for more of a number per month... 1" every month/2month...
Any experienced Gulper owners?

Oh dang! I'm sure they were diff sizes...Right? That would have to be a big mouth to eat a fish your size:WHOA:!!!! Would be cool to see that but not from my own money:D
 
im gonna pick one up in two weeks just godda sort its tank out (find some space for it:D) will one be ok in a 55 gal, 42l,18d,24h?

also heard they need alot of current is this true?

have read the planet catfish thing but cant find any more info out, anyone no any other sites?
 
all i know is that they eat all of there tank mates! the one i had ate my 3 peacocks that were bigger then him but he would never eat a feeder in front of me, so i sold em.
