Staying on one side of tank. Facing either slanted up or slanted down or completely vertical. Goes on side sometimes and when I tried to give him a piece of tilapia he went crazy and did flips and rolled around crazily for a moment

I’ve also noticed part of his top lip is white and head. He has like a white outline on his head and his gills are a little red but he has 0 ammonia
Stays in one corner and made like a little hole in the sand
I’m sorry im making so many post it’s just I don’t know what to do at this point and I don’t want to lose him and have him healthy like the other gulpers I always see online. I’ve tested water and it’s perfectly fine and I really don’t know what the problem could be
put a goldfish in his mouth, kept it there for about a minute then when I turn the lights off it spit it out
Only breathing through on gill flap very rapidly looks better today though
Found the gulper on one side on the floor beneath a plant I moved him and on of his gills seems to be open and not moving or like cut I don’t know and he is swimming very weirdly and from side to side
Sorry you are going through this. I believe your gulper catfish wasn't healthy when you purchased it.
^ Most likely so. I've had this happen more than once. As a matter of fact, I'm dealing with a relatively similar situation right now.
On the edge of death I’ve tried everything, I also think it’s the store it’s my 2nd gulper from that store and the gulper seem sick. All the gulpers I’ve seen there have been looking weird and the only one that looked good was purchased by a some guy
