Had a group of these awesome catfish come in this week, had to share some photos. Check out the mouth on this guy! Is it just me or do they look more like a deep sea anglerfish than a fw cat?
Although at first I had some trouble getting a decent shot of the fish (that bright white belly was reflecting a lot of light) once I got the levels a little more balanced it was really fun playing with lighting to see how it changed the overall 'feel' of the photos. For the second photo there I lit heavily from below the photo tank and I think it gave the fish an even more menacing and otherworldly look.
