Gulpers - is it true what they can eat?

the second time a gulper has eaten an aro om MFK..previously it was a jar..should not really keep any other fishes with the gulper which are like smaller than 15inches i guess man. sorry for your loss..sucks to lose a fish
 
interesting.... mine with 2x smaller gulper doing fine... just put some gold fish for them to eat... seem like there is black and gold version of gulper
