Gun lovers: tell me your 5 favorite calibers

hey all you gun lovers, i wanna hear your 5 favorite calibers and your 5 favorite brands. but firs i will give a list of the acronyms you will see after some of the caliber names and thier meanings, for those new to the great hobby of shooting.

SA, short. action. the caliber of a certain bullet whos cartridge is shorter and fatter but contains th same amount of gun powder .used for easier loading and ejecting.

SAUM, Short. action. ultra. magnum, the bullet of a certain caliber but in a shorter, fatter case and usually has more gunpowder.

WIN, Winchester, any of the cartridges designed by a certain gun maker
this also includes REM Remington. and H for Hornady

Mag, Magnum, the caliber of a bullet but with a higher amount of powder.

so a 300 Win SAUM is a .300 caliber bullet whos cartridge was designed by winchester and is a short action ultra magnum.

my 5 calibers are:

#1 6.8 SPC

#2 7mm s.a.u.m

#3. .177 HMR

#4 22-250

#5 .270 long

My 5 favorite brands are

#1 Kleinguenther model K15 ( i really dont like the K14, but the K15 is unsurpassed in quality)

#2 Savage

#3 Sako

#4 Remington

#5 Marlin
 
With the way the price of ammo is these days my favorite might be the .22
 
.22s are fun, plus the bullets and guns are cheap. I have a henry survivor .22 rifle, its sweet, fun, and handy. I'm more of a shotgun person though, .22 is the only caliber guns/rifles I have.
 
yeah i see why... but since i am only 14 and cant buy ammo in the first place. and my dad reloads his own ammo i get to shoot alot. i agree with the .22 thing though!

Just another thing for me to be jealous over, you guys (USA) get everything..............
 
I dont have a favorite round. My favorites are what ever is cheapest!

I dont do much paper shooting.

If I had to make a list...

5.45x39
7.62x54r
7.62x25
.45ACP
.338lapua
 
7.62x54R - M38 Mosin Nagant
.204 - Ruger BA
22-250
.177HMR
.22LR - Ruger 1022

My break barrel 1000fps pellet rifle gets more use than all the others combined.

For the price, you can't beat a Mosin Nagant:headbang2I love mine, i had a M44 that i unfortunately had to sell so i picked up a 91-30 a while later. Still keeping my eyes peeled for some more Mosins though!!!
