guppies will eat all the small shrimps!

I bread guppies and red cherry shrimp in the same tank without problems.

Good luck trying to breed Ghosts in your tank. They generally will only breed in large bodies of water.

I think you could have said that a little better.

And they wont only breed in larger tank. I had some in a 2.5 gallon tank and had them breeding. But how large are you talking ? I think a 40 breeder would do the trick you just have to start with enough shrimp.

To grow them in numbers you may need a larger tank. And I agreed that the guppies will eat the baby shrimp and the flip side I have seen shrimp eat baby.

Really? I tried to breed the two together and I never saw anything fromt he shrimp, I moved the shrimp to my planted tank and I had a population explosion. About a week ago, I cleaned out the guppy tank to change it to another set-up. When I did, I found 4 juvi cherry shrimp that had gotten sucked up and lived. But that made me think, where did all my other baby shrimp go? I didnt have the biggest guppies, but this was also my first go-ahead attempt with shrimp so take the mystery with a grain of salt
