So I have been breeding guppies as feeders and was woundering do you think 5 could put the 8 adult guppies with the bass? I think they are to big for the bass to eat but they could eat the babbies as they are laid? What do you think?

The LMB will eat them with quickness. 4" LMB can easily eat adult guppies.

seriously? lmb will eat other fish that are more than half their size

yes the bass will eat them

Get convict cichlids, preferably 3 to 6 pairs and set up a breeding or feeding program. Just put 1 pair per 10g and they will do the rest. And when you are raising fry in one tank, feeding your bass with fry from another tank then you have a third tank already breeding. FLAWLESS. Just you need alot of tanks and convicts. And convicts hit the 5-6" mark so you could feed them to your bass for life, with supplumental flake foods of course.

Oh! And you could buy a pair of my shellies here! They also breed like flies!

LMB will try to eat things big enough that they can sometimes kill themselves. I've seen 4-5" LMB try to eat 3-4" LMB in hatchery tanks. Guppies don't get large enough to safe with a 4" bass
