PLEASE! (begging to my fish)
:irked:
My tank is getting overtaken by guppies! I tossed some of my extra guppy fry into the big tank, thinking they would make good snacks for the fish, but now I have a school of the little buggers.

I thought the BGK would take them out, or the fire eel, but seems like every day there are MORE guppies, not less. The ray just glides over them as they pick stuff off the tank bottom.

This really is a problem for me. I find myself with a glut of "feeder fish" now (guppies, platys, and cons breeding like mad!) but nothing to feed them too!

I need a fish eater, any suggestions? I have a spare 20 to put it in, maybe an arrowhead puffer?

Thats weird my BGK took care of all the fry in my tank overnight pretty much, i guess you could go with angels they should take care of them

GIVE THEM TO ME DANGIT!!!!!!!!

Man, I'm trying to get my guppies to breed, no luck :( And you have too many....lucky. Well anyway....I'd advice an oscar, but that might not be the best choice for your tank. You could also stop feeding your bgk something that the guppies can eat.

Actually there are guppies in the angel tank as well, and in the CA tank. The angels will only eat the babies, and some always make it to grow up. The CA's only eat the bigger females, so I'm left with a lot of small males in that tank.

Seriously, I can't believe that the dozen I bought would start taking over my tanks!

I started breeding the guppies, cons, and platys to feed my leaf fish, but it kicked the bucket two months ago. Been looking for another, but they are out of season.

I think a catfish of some sort would probably clean house after the lights go out.

Hey, newtothis, are they fancy or feeder guppies, and how many did you start out with? How many were males/females? Thanks.

they eat their own babies so get rid of them when they grow keep a male and your females and watch them slowly dissapear and just keep the colerful males and you wouldnt have problems

Poor choice, you'll need a 75 gallon for one of these.
