You what? I can see at least 2 gravid spots!

Females aren't colored much except their tails, its the males that are colorful the spots are just coloration.

i got two girls in that pic as far as what the fish store told me

I thought 3 girls - the one on the left with the black tail looks female from here.
They are bound to be nervous going into a large tank with not much shelter at or near the top and lots of open water.
Also how big is the Ctenopoma? They might have already sized it up as a threat. Also it will soon be big enough to eat the adult guppies, nevermind the fry.

it is still small about an inch dont worry it will be eating them soon.

i am just not sure what i should set up in a 10g aquarium for food breeding
i am between swords and guppies

or mabye a pair of convicts for a few months till they out grow it.



?????BTW how long would a breeding pair of convicts last in a 10g until needing a 30g?
