on earth
i have not expected this i have herd that a hard boiled egg or micro worms i dont have a week to harvest micro worms from the earth or to whait for them to get here in the mail so any other ideas of what i can feed the fry i have been feeding them D.C. brine shrimp eggs just trying to mix it up

Brine shrimp eggs hatch after 15-24 hours ;) If you dont got any better food you can always feed them crushed flakes

ok thank you i was trying not to resorte to that but im glad a mfker told me in stead of just what i have read on the web

If your fry will take them, crushed flakes shaken HARD in a 1/4 filled water bottle poured through a 1-2' long section of cpvc will absolutely keep the fry happy. (A tiny pinch - 16/th tsp or less in a shot glass of tank water works great to concentrate the food. 1.5oz to a shot. ;) ) (Gently pour more tank water through afterwards to flush the nutrients out.) . It'll also acclimate them to the prepared food you intend to feed them. ^_^

how long does it take the guppies to get to sellable size as i bred mine and got fry about a month ago and they still dont have colours im feeding crushed flake and rozen brine shrimp 2-3 times daily.

u should feed them 4-5 times a day for the first month and i think about 2 and a half months is what i have seen or u could go longer and sell for a higher price. that is just what i have seen this is also my first guppy spawn. maybe some one else has some more impute on this matter

Hi there. Long time guppy breeder here. You can basically crush any flake into powder (or almost powder) like state and feed them that. Guppies are not very picky eaters. For the first couple weeks, I tend to feed them 3 times a week at a very little amount and since I have my fry in a 5 gal, I do 30% water change every week. As for selling them, you can probably start selling them at around 1-1.5cm. Some will start showing color by then, depending on strain. my red snakeskins usually start showing at a bigger size than my tuxedos.
Justy FYI, once they start they won't stop breeding lol. I find 5-15 fry in my mating tank literally every week (i'm sure more but some of them get eaten if they aren't smart enough to hide in the plants).
