Instead some donut eater jogged 8 feet and grabbed the door of a slow moving vehicle.

Hello; Not that it should make a lot of difference, but two lanes are more like 20-22 feet by themselves
officer who slammed on his break for him to run in front of his stopped truck deserves props. Superhero like reflexs

Hello; Interesting that you appear to give the guy who stepped on his brake more of the credit.

he's being paid to do the deed.

Hello; Interesting point of view. So deeds count more if someone is not being paid. Does anyone know if the job description of a police officer includes running in front of another officers vehicle (counting on the other driver to stop) and jumping on a moving semi?

all I presented was facts

Hello; Please feel free to add your opinions.

Think the job duty includes protecting the public. Stopping a slow moving truck probably qualifies as protecting the public

I've presented my opinion too. It's that I'm not impressed. Doesn't make it any less of a good deed.

Ps, the other vehicle was probably going 5 mph too, at most he'd be bumped if he guy hadnt stopped.

I am curious balli, and sumo do you just hate cops? think they are the enemy? got no respect for them, have an easy job of eating donuts?

I read the title "guts", then read the posts on here, then read the article, all hyped up the video, then finally watched the video expecting a death defying superhero act. Instead I got some guy power walking to a slow moving vehicle and voiced my disappointment. If you choose to take that as cop hating that's on you. I blame everyone that hyped the video for getting my hopes up

exactly this. i read the first few posts before watching the video and thought, "this sounds interesting"

when the video started, i seriously thought one cop sitting shotgun was gonna open the door and leap like 5 feet across onto the runaway vehicle and pull the dude out like 2 seconds before the semi exploded

it's got nothing to do with the fact that it was a cop. it could've been a fireman or a mc donald's employee for all i care.

but regardless, i do call that heroic and agree with skj that as easy as it may have seemed things could've gone wrong pretty quick had the cop slipped or something and he may have prevented some tragedies

.

Think i hinted at that too. Still wondering what the LT6 members saw based on the original comments before I blew the whistle though. Yall did a great accidental troll job
